The unique graphite crucible from a renowned Italian bronze foundry has been used up to 100 times for bronze casting before it has served its function. Zinck Editions acknowledges it beauty and has reversed it’s recyclability into a beautiful home decor object.
UPCYCLED from reowned Italien foundry in Pietrasanta, Italy.
MADE FROM: Graphite cup used up to 100 times for casting bronze, white metal, silver, aluminum and other metals, and has now served its function.
Graphite has the same composition as diamond, the hardest mineral known, but its unique structure makes it extremely light, soft and highly resistant to heat and nearly inert in contact with almost any other material. The cup can withstand all kinds of weather and can be used outdoor all year round. The unique patina of the cup comes from repeated use in casting molten metals.
MAINTENANCE AND CARE: The unique crucible has unique patina from its life as a casting cup. To preserve the patina only use a light dust brush to maintain it.

When the crucible has been used around 100 times and it has served its function, the cup is no longer usable for the foundry. There’s no recycling options, and the cups are disposed off. Zinck Editions has reversed their recyclability, and recognized their unique beauty as jars for inside and outside use. This creative reuse and upcycling benefits both the environment and the decor of a modern home.
